  2. Hi, The update for RDShade to be compatible with V5.4 was released 2 weeks ago.
  3. Hi, You can just install overtop of the current version, no special instructions, we have designed the software in such a way that updating is as easy as can be. Kind regards
  4. Unfortunately I don’t have a timeframe right now, we will do our best!
  5. Hi, RDShade automatically uses the latest supported version of P3D, Did you install P3D V5.4? This version is not yet supported by RDShade. Kind regards
  6. Hi, an update is required to make RDShade work with v5.4, currently work in progress.
  7. Hi, we will have to develop an update for RDShade to be compatible with this new version, we can’t just remove this error. We have started on this update today. kind regards
  8. Hi, LIRN has not received an update. And when downloading the scenery from any of our partners or our website you will always download the latest version 🙂 So if in doubt, you can reinstall, you can also follow us on social media to keep track of any updates! Kind regards
  9. Hi, RDShade is not designed to ‘fix’ shaders issues, only to improve shaders in P3D so restoring all shaders using RDShade may solve the issue I can’t promise anything. RDPresets
  10. Hi, This could be an issue as this is not the case by default. Regards
  11. Hi, Please run the installer from the desktop and make sure the installer is not blocked or limited by an anti virus software. We haven’t had anybody else report this issue so we would recommend trying different things on your system trying to find the issue,
  12. Hi Andre, All errors that break the software are not skippable 🙂 Meaning that there is no issue as RDShade does a lot of self checks behind the scenes. Do you remember what the error said? Kind regards
  13. Hi Marc, Yes this is possible, RDShade will convert it. However keep in mind that most presets for a different version may look weird in another due to changed to the simulator. kind regards
  14. Hi Mav, We have never seen this issue before since the release of RDshade, can you give us some more information? Maybe a screenshot? Kind regards
  15. Hi, Thank you for reporting this, we were not aware of the starts not being visable with the haze fix enabled, we will have to look into this and why this is. We don't have a quick fix at this point. Kind regards
  16. Hi, It appears that the installer is not able to install the .net runtime that is required to run the installer. Please try to install .NET Runtime 6.0.5 (x64) manually and try again, you can find this .NET runtime by a quick google search, you can download it there and install. Kind regards
  17. Hi, Well the best solution would be not using enhanced atmospherics and just the volumetric clouds with the default sky, the biggest reason of the dark cockpit is the new enhanced atmospherics. kind regards
  18. Hi! I wouldn't agree on the terrible timing part, RDShade is still a great tool for people using P3D V5 and the fact that we are currently not developing new tweaks doesn't mean the software can't be usefull (We still very much support the software and will release bug fix updates, only thing that we don't do is develop new tweaks). To anwser your question, we have played around with this setting ourselfs and testing all different values, and going below 0.10 doesn't make a difference in-sim in our testing, going negative makes it darker again, so that's why we choose 0.10 as a minimum as unfortunatly that's the brightest we can make the cockpit's in V5 with TrueSky. It's very much a simulator limitation we have tried to correct as much as we could 🙂 I hope this anwsers your question, don't hesitate to ask more if needed, like I said, RDShade is still very much a supported product and bug fixes and updates will be released, however we currenly don't plan to put R&D Resources into RDShade for P3D due to the decline of P3D in the last year. Kind regards
  19. Hi, Did you have RDShade working in the past? Or is this the first time using it? kind regards
  20. Hi This is because a key can only be used 2 times, there after you need to contact us to get it reactivated. Please email us your serial key and we can reactivate it for you. kind regards
  21. Hey Alex, Thank you for reaching out! The answer to your question is 2 sided. Yes it is possible to make a tweak that adjusts it based on day/night, however, only for the original old style clouds, not for the volumetric clouds. And the second part of the answer, we have not included this feature in RDShade yet because we did not figure out a reliable way to make it work without issues. I hope this answer your question! Kind regards
  22. Hi Pavlin, Thank you for reaching out! We will take it on board and see what is possible for Prepar3D V4. 🙂 Kind regards
  23. Hi Johnny, This is correct, Live editing means that you are able to change the shaders in-sim while it’s running, however you still need to click apply to see the changes appear. kind regards
