doublebubble
As a long term user of P.T.A which is now no longer supported I went ahead and purchased RDShade today and straight away things don't work, when loading the aircraft at an addon airport the airport textures do not load into the sim e.g. Orbx YMML, uninstall RDShade and all's back to normal, I've tried a few times with the same result, uninstall RDShade and the sim is loading fine with all airports textures showing, can someone please shed some light on what the issue is please, this is with P3DV4.5. RDPresets RDPresets Support Posted September 6, 2022 RDPresets Share Posted September 6, 2022 Hi, This is a known bug with V4.5 which will be fixed soon! For now, on the forum you can find info on what specific tweak is causing this and to disable, only 1 tweak is causing this so if you disable that one you can use the rest of the tweaks as you expect! 🙂 kind regards
doublebubble
If it's the GPUTerrain.fx file to replace I tried that but that didn't fix the problem so could you please advise on which tweak you are referring to?
RDPresets RDPresets Support Posted September 8, 2022 RDPresets Share Posted September 8, 2022 It's important to note that with the GPUTerrain file fix you cannot change any tweaks after inserting that file. So the last thing you do before opening the simulator is placing that file in and you should be good to go.
