  1. Thanks. I'm the guy (K..H..) who posted all those screenshots on FB over the weekend, btw! 🙂
  2. First, thank you guys for this amazing app which has really added something great to P3D. In particular, for me it has removed most of my objections to EA mode (ignoring for now VC clouds, until LM have done some much more needed work). However there remains a rather large elephant in the EA room which I was hoping RDShade might be able to control, which is the overall amount of atmospheric haze displayed in EA. Some have argued that this is realistic, and I agree that there are certain atmospheric conditions when it can look as strong as in EA in real life. But not all the time. I have flown many times in summer where it's been possible to see the terrain in almost perfect detail from 35000ft. In EA, I feel like I'm flying in fog all of the time - this for me is a massive immersion killer. What's the point of having high quality LC and photo scenery with autogen if it's constantly blurred out with haze and blue scattering? And it doesn't get much better with descent - even at 4000ft, I might just as well have default scenery for the visual benefit I get from it. For this reason, I find myself regrettably switching EA off yet again. So is this possibly something you could have a slider for in future versions?
  3. Looks like you are using non-EA mode - with EA you will probably get more haze than you want! Without EA, depends also on your settings in Active Sky. Try reducing visibility sliders there.
  4. If you want EA mode on, just enable it in the sim. There aren't any specific settings specially for EA, except for VC (if you have enabled in sim)
  5. Fantastic; thanks for the prompt reply. My credit card is in my hand!!! 🙂
  6. Excited about this as we have needed something for a long time since the demise of Tomatoshade. My questions are - 1. I have got my v5 looking amazing with EA off, using a combination of Envshade and Reshade (custom presets). I presume that I would have to disable these products to use RDShade (and I can see the value in starting with a "clean canvass")? 2. Given what I've said above, my main reason for wanting to try RDShade is to get my sim looking good in EA mode, which so far I've been unable to do for all times of day/seasons/situations to my total satisfaction. But looking through the manual I can't see any specific reference to EA in v5, so am I to assume that the tweaks work both with EA and without it? 3. Are any of the things that RDShade does "post-processing" like Reshade? The only reason I ask is for screenshots, as if you use the sim screenshot tool, it will not incorporate any post-processing effects done by Reshade - does the same apply here? Many thanks and looking forward to trying this out!
